Count the deliverables properly

Ask for the number of graphics, carousels, videos, captions and platform adaptations. Confirm whether a video includes filming, editing supplied footage or both. Specify whether one design published on two platforms counts as one deliverable or two.

Published local packages demonstrate how differently this work can be described. Use those examples to prepare your questions; the right scope follows your business needs, assets and capacity for approvals.

Identify who does the production work

A content calendar needs photos, video and accurate business information. List the photographs, product information, permissions and subject-matter input required. Agree who supplies them and when. An on-location content day may require separate scheduling, travel and approval of the shot list.

For a Tobago-based business, discuss the working arrangement and any production logistics explicitly. A remote design package should not imply that on-site filming is included.

Set approval and response responsibilities

Name one person who can approve copy, prices and offers. Agree the review window, revision allowance and treatment of last-minute requests. Confirm whether messages and comments are monitored, during which hours, and how customer complaints are escalated.

Use platform roles for access where available. Keep business ownership separate from the permissions needed to create and publish content. A supplier does not need your personal account password to be the default workflow.

Separate publishing from advertising

A posting schedule does not automatically include paid promotion. Ask whether the fee covers ad management, creative variants, media spend and landing-page work. Record how campaign budgets will be approved and who pays the platform.

The content plan should answer the questions your customers bring to the buying process. Include useful explainers, genuine work, preparation guidance and a clear route to the next step.

Agree what the monthly review will answer

A report can show which content was published, how people responded and which agreed contact actions occurred. Your business records are needed to establish which enquiries became customers. Reactions, reach and messages have different meanings.

Ask what the provider recommends changing and why. A useful review shows what to change next. Send DSDillon Marketing your current pages, available material and the workload you want help with to prepare a scoped discussion.
