List the work before dividing the money
A marketing plan can require creative development, a website or landing page, advertising spend, reporting and the time needed to respond to enquiries. Identify which elements are already available and which need to be prepared.
For a local launch, it may be sensible to finish the offer and enquiry process before adding more promotion. The sequence follows your actual readiness, not a fixed percentage that assumes every business operates the same way.
Keep currencies and recurring costs visible
Record each expense in its billing currency. Confirm platform payment arrangements for your account and the treatment of any conversion fees or taxes. Keep the design fee, management fee and media spend separate in your planning sheet.
A quoted monthly amount should explain whether it is a retainer, an estimated platform budget or a total containing several items. Ask for the distinction before approval.
Use transparent scenario calculations
Total campaign cost divided by qualified enquiries gives cost per qualified enquiry. Dividing that same cost by confirmed new customers gives customer acquisition cost. The usefulness of those numbers depends on how consistently you define and record the underlying events.
Our calculator uses your estimated enquiries and close rate to illustrate those relationships. You can change the inputs. It is not using market benchmarks, live advertising data or a prediction engine.
Consider capacity and contribution
Decide how many new customers the business can handle and what it costs to deliver the work. Revenue is not the same as money available after delivery costs. Use figures from your own records and consult your accountant where needed.
A campaign can create enquiries that the team cannot answer or fulfil. Include response capacity, stock or appointment availability in the launch discussion.
Agree when to review the plan
Define the test period, budget authority and the results you need to see before spending more. Review enquiry quality, response and confirmed outcomes alongside platform metrics. Explain any gaps in measurement or changes in the offer.
Bring your comfortable budget range, current marketing activity and objective to DSDillon Marketing. We will agree the deliverables, budget and next steps before work begins. Submitting a brief does not authorise advertising spend.
