Check who the page is attracting
Review the available search queries, referral sources and landing pages. Are visitors looking for your paid service or for unrelated information? A useful service page should clearly identify the audience it is meant to help.
For a Trinidad and Tobago business, look at the intended market and actual service area. More visitors from places you cannot serve may not improve the commercial result.
Make the offer understandable on the first screen
Can a visitor tell what you do, who it is for and how to take the next step? Replace vague descriptions with the actual service and a plain explanation of the outcome being discussed. Put detailed scope and conditions further down the page where they are easy to find.
Use real examples of your work, clear process explanations and useful case studies. Avoid unsupported client counts, awards or performance promises.
Test the enquiry route as a customer
Use a phone to open the menu, follow the main button and complete the form with a clearly labelled test. Check validation, confirmation and notification delivery. Inspect whether fixed buttons cover essential text or controls.
A short initial enquiry can request enough information to start a discussion. Detailed documents and sensitive information should follow through a suitable secure process.
Separate clicks from confirmed business outcomes
Website analytics can show a page visit, button action or form submission when measurement is enabled. They cannot automatically prove a completed call, a delivered WhatsApp message or a paying customer. Match enquiries to quotes, bookings or sales where your business can track them.
Record response time and reasons a suitable enquiry did not progress. That information may reveal an operational issue as well as a website issue.
Prioritise the repair
Start with broken functions and unclear contact routes. Then improve the relevant page, supporting information and qualification questions. Record the changes and compare results over a sensible period before deciding whether the redesign worked.
DSDillon Marketing can review the journey and produce a scoped improvement plan. Use the readiness checklist to identify obvious gaps before the first discussion.
